hadn't completely died yet. I am so glad I did. Last year I purchased a
set of Jamo speakers and until I hooked up the Pioneer, we had not
heard their real potential. The old receiver was not capable of the new
Dolby formats with Blue Ray discs. During the first movie we watched, I
had to pause it half a dozen times to determine if the sounds were from
the movie or if someone had driven into our house.
A couple of cons I see with the 1122 are that you cannot control this unit with the iPhone app and the receiver will not automatically turn on if you stream music to it from your phone/device. But those complaints are nothing compared to the pros of this unit. I highly recommend this unit.
Update:*** I saw in a couple reviews that the new iPhone app works with this receiver and tried it again. Now there are no cons for this review
